AGENCY NEWSLETTER
In this, our inaugural newsletter, we’re shining a light on artists in our fold who work with brands and agencies and also create for museums, exhibitions, and festivals. Artists featured here know how to respond to a creative brief, tell the story of a brand, and create the “wow factor” that leads to an indelible experience. They bring to that process the same loving care they give to a “pure art” project.
FEATURING CREATIVE STUDIO: WALTZ BINAIRE
The Berlin-based studio for human motion in digital design was founded by computer scientist and choreographer Christian Mio Loclair.
Making the most of that unusual combination, Christian and his team explore “human motion in digital design,” as in this activation created for Adidas in Berlin, a circular wall of LED screens that forms a poetic story of “fabric in motion.”
An ambitious project for Google (also from Waltz Binaire) is equally beautiful in design and execution. With a pallet of sunlight and warm color, this is “a connected space designed to resemble Google’s ubiquitous artificial intelligence.”
EUROPEAN ARTISTS: REMARKABLE AND AFFORDABLE
European artists - like Waltz Binaire - aren’t necessarily more expensive than American ones. We work with Berlin-based Onformative (who are colleagues of Waltz Binaire). Audio visionaries Kling, Klang, Klong are also in Berlin (sense a trend?) and were commissioned - with Onformative - to design and build the lobby for the new Dolby headquarters on Market
Street in SF. Future Fires artist partners for the commission we're working on currently at the Museum of Tech Innovation in San Jose is a global consortium of some of the artists you see featured here.
NOS VISUALS: AUDIO RESPONSIVE IN REAL TIME
At our Nov 2017 Luminary event in SF, Nohlab awed the crowds with their audio interactive piece (NOS Visuals), which will be in the Israel Festival in July. Their work in robotics, immersive environments, and projection mapping illustrates both the agility of their imaginations and the depth of their collective skills.
AB-I HAYAT / PERMANENT SITE SPECIFIC INSTALL ATION / MEMORIAL HOSPITAL , ISTANBUL / 2018
Taking its name from the water which is the source of life, Ab-ı Hayat welcomes the guests at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital's entrance hall. The digital art spreads through three floors, covering 48 HD screens, reaching a total of 4K resolution. From Nohlab.
MORE OPPORTUNITIES FROM FUTURE FIRES ARTISTS
We’ve been getting inquires about the “Digital Storybook” that Yves Peitzner has deployed to great effect.
We love Mathieu LeSourd (aka Maotik), the Montreal-based artist who’s created one sensation after another with his immersive multimedia environments. We’ll be going public soon about a client of ours with a new space in Venice Beach. They’ve brought us and Maotik together to install an unforgettable experience, creating brand association of the best kind: association with an amazing night and a thrilled audience.

AMERICANS DO IT MEMORABLY: VINCENT HOUZÉ’S WORK
New-York based digital artist Vincent Houzé has created massive installations at the Day for Night festival in Houston. Meanwhile, in the world of brands, he continues to find creative ways to get a client’s story across. See his work pictured below and a non-pictured work for Google I/O 2017.
If we’ve shown you something that’s piqued your interest, or if there’s something you’re looking for, we’re available. And responsive!
