Dreams of Dali

The March, 2017 production of Dreams of Dali in San Francisco is a joint production of Dream Logic, Future Fires, and The Midway. Background and Inception: The Dali Museum of St. Petersburg, Florida partnered with award-winning advertising agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners to create a stunning virtual reality rendition of Dalí’s 1935 painting “Archaeological Reminiscence of Millet’s ‘Angelus.  Description: “Dreams of Dali” drops the viewer onto a vast desert full of dreamlike oddities, allowing us to explore the world of the Surrealist master in 360 degrees. “Dreams of Dali” was premiered as part of the 2016 exhibition “Disney and Dalí: Architects of the Imagination,” in a collaboration with the Walt Disney Family Museum, then travelled to Future Fires in March, 2017. This award-winning VR experience has garnered visitor acclaim, online praise and international recognition through a multitude of industry awards, including the prestigious Cannes Cyber Lion GOLD; a  Webby People’s Voice award; and a Facebook Silver award for Innovation, among others.
